What: Peninsula Summer Music Festival
You’ve got the Mornington Peninsula, which is magical enough. Now add 1930s French jazz, Mozart, Renaissance woodwind, baroque chamber music or fandango – all will be on offer as part of the festival, in which local and international artists will perform in 26 events. One highlight will be Dido and Aeneas, directed by United States conductor Kenneth Weiss and starring Fiona Campbell.
When: December 27 to January 5
Tickets: Some tickets are free, while other cost $15-$125.
