What:  Talented artists from across the Mornington Peninsula will be opening their studios to the public as part of the Peninsula Studio Trail Open Weekend on the 1 & 2nd March.

Appreciate the often-secret domain of the artist ‘their studio’ and while you’re there take advantage of the opportunity to buy directly from the artist, as you’re sure to find a treasure or two.

Peninsula Studio Trail was established in 2009 as an artist’s initiative. It is a diverse and gifted group of 25 artists specializing in a range of mediums including ceramics, painting and printmaking, photography, gold and silversmithing and glass art.  Many of the artists are happy to demonstrate the techniques they use that make their art so special over the weekend. Artist’s studios are open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

If you can’t make it to all the studios on your list in March look out for the next Open Studio weekend on the Queens Birthday weekend in June.

Where: Across the Mornington Peninsula

When: 1st & 2nd March 2014

Free of charge unless you decide on a treasure or two
