Flinders Quartet

What:  Designed to highlight the artistry of Flinders Quartet and the group’s reputation for imaginative interpretations, this special program engages with some of the greatest core repertoire by three masters of the string quartet. Each work has been chosen for its layers of musicianship: Haydn as the father of the string quartet, Shostakovich as the master of musical meaning, and Dvořák for the sheer joy of music making and the top level in string quartet craftsmanship.

Shostakovich String Quartet No. 7 in F sharp minor, Op. 108

DvořákString Quartet Op.96 in F major (American)
