MURAL FOR WESTPARK SHOPS AS PART OF THE ADOPT-A-HOTSPOT PROGRAM

What: Mornington Peninsula Shire’s 2012/13 Arts Stream Community Grants provided funds for the Hastings Wallaroo House to engage the community and an artist to produce a mural for the Westpark shops as part of the Victorian Department of Justice & Hastings Adopt-A-Hotspot program.

Students from West Park Primary contributed to the design process and a composite design was drafted and approved of by the community. Peninsula Graphic Designer Josh Brown from Mornington’s Snake Hole Gallery painted the design onto the side of the shops.

Where: Westpark Shops next door to Wallaroo Community House, Wallaroo Place Hastings.
