Winter School Holidays – Jim Coad and Lantern Making workshops Kids of all ages can get involved and make art with Jim Coad as part of his exhibitions at Cube 37 Gallery.

SET IN MOTION – Wednesday 2 July, 1pm to 3pm The famous Video Architecture Coloring Competition for kids. Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to create large-scale projection artworks. No special skills are required for this workshop, just bring your imagination and we will provide the rest. Using conventional art materials; pencils, textas, and magazine clipping you get to re-design Frankston’s Cube 37 for a night. You will also be able to design boats for the ‘Adrift’ installation which will be showing inside the Cube 37 gallery. Suitable for 5 – 11 years, must be accompanied by an adult First child $10, additional child $7

ROTOSCOPE ANIMATION WORKSHOP – Thursday 3 July 10am to 1:30pm (BYO Lunch) Rotoscoping is used to some extent in almost every major motion picture, “From cleaning up” frames to creating magical animation. The magic of rotoscoping as an animation technique is in its ability to capture the essence of motion. Stripping back the detail, the subtleties of movement emerge.  Suitable for 12-15 years First child $15, additional child $10.
