‘INSINGANE’ PAINTING EXHIBITION @ CUBE 37

FAC_logo-sm 2012

What: Detritus-Solo exhibition by Insingane

Be swept away on an emotional tide as Insingane explores the flotsam and jetsam of memory.

There are events that shape our life and make us who we are. Shrapnel memories embedded deep within our being. This exhibition examines the debris of the soul.

Insingane works in explosive large highly textured acrylics. Her vivid graphic style and expressive use of color and line deftly snare a singular emotion or moment. Her introspective dreamscapes are often dark and brooding and deal with universal themes such as depression and loss. Insingane-zulu for sweetheart is the artist name and childhood nickname of Nicoleen Agnello. This South African born artist with a career as a multi award winning art director resides in Seaford.
