What: Jorge Saade-Scaff + Juan Carlos Escudero

“Ecuadorian virtuosos, violinist Jorge Saade-Scaff and pianist Juan Carlos Escudero, will delight audiences with a program that includes well-known European and Ecuadorian composers. Widely recognised across Latin America, each has a distinguished solo career and has captivated audiences all over the world with performances from Carnegie Hall, New York, and the Royal Festival Hall, London, to the Sydney Opera House. They will travel to Australia following their debut recital as a duo at the prestigious Meet in Beijing 2014 Arts Festival, performing at the National Theatre for the Performing Arts in China. They will delight audiences with a program that includes works by Veracini, Mozart, Wieniawski, Lizt-Wagner, Chertman, Lopez-Gavilan and the Ecuadorian composers Claudio Aizaga, Corsino Duran-Carrion, Gerardo Guevara and Enrique Espin-Yepez. “Saade-Scaff with the magic of his violin, and Escudero with the dexterity of his fingers at the piano, produced amazing sounds that cast a spell over the audience.”  Maneesh Bakshi, Qatar Tribune, 5 June, 2014
