What: Next Saturday PMS presents two of our very favourite artists, Amir Farid on piano and Zoe Knighton – cellist with the Flinders Quartet, in a program featuring Beethoven, Faure, Debussy, Solare, Bragato and Ginastera. It will be a beguiling mix of classical, well-known French and warm blooded Argentinian music.
Amir and Zoe joined forces in 2009, and as well as their ensemble and recital commitments, have performed as a duo on ABC Sunday Live, the Port Fairy Festival and around regional Victoria. Together they have recorded two CDs and their music is often heard on ABC Classic FM. Amir was also an adjudicator for our recent Bursary Awards.
