PLACEMAKING PROGRAM OF ENHANCEMENTS FOR MORNINGTON NORTH

What: As part of  an ongoing program of place-based enhancements and community building activities, a street event ‘Pay it Forward’ was held in April.  The Shire’s Arts & Cultural Development team employed Peninsula artist Judi Singleton and emerging community artist Shan Race to work with children and adults to produce a banner to promote the dropping in speed limit throughout Mornington North to 40 KPH.

Mornington Park students have also been working on the development of a logo for the Placemaking Project.   A mural will also be painted on the side of the Robertson Drive shops over the coming year.
