MUSIC SUMMIT A GREAT SUCCESS

What: A Music Summit held on 3 June, 2015 @ Merchant Lane (The Social) in Mornington was a great success with MC Brian Nankervis from RocKwiz entertaining participants and kept the balls in the air for much of the evening.  The evening began with an opportunity for Peninsula musicians and visitors to network and catch-up with each other. A feature of the event was the panel discussion with Music Victoria, APRA, the Live Music Office, Sydney, local producer Ian Pav of PavMusic and musicians Marty Nelson-Williams & Jude Perl.  A Draft of The Music Development Plan for the Mornington Peninsula was available and the Music Network and the Shire are keen to canvas the music sector and industry’s thoughts on the proposed Plan.  If you would like to receive a copy of the Music Development Plan contact Andrea Ebsworth Cultural Development Planning Officer arts@mornpen.vic.gov.au or phone 0447 629 628 and a copy can be sent to you or you can send your comments and feedback directly to President of the MP Music Network Simon Mills c/- MP Shire, Arts & Culture Private Bag 1000 Rosebud 3939
