Moth July 15

What: Fraser A. Gorman, Thomas Hugh w/ Shannon Bourne, James Avent.

When: Friday June 3 will be an all-male MOTH.

Where: Red Hill Pavilion, Red Hill Oval

Fraser A. Gorman has included MOTH on his debut album release Australian tour. He is playing Red Hill, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong and Darwin.

After playing a flawless series of shows at SXSW (US) and The Great Escape (UK) festivals 2015, and tearing apart an opening slot for best mate Courtney Barnett through her sold out UK tour, Fraser A. Gorman’s collection of cool-as-f***, funny, heartfelt and super-infectious tunes have finally come to fruition on his debut album titled ‘SLOW GUM’ – which will be released in Australia through Milk! Records and Caroline Australia on the day of the show.”

Fraser A. Gorman’s story is a captivating one. A 23 year old kid who looks like a teenage Bob Dylan, a full time carpenter obsessed with the history of American rock n’ roll, expressing himself through wry poetry, bent tropicalia, country-soul and rock. Fraser will play MOTH with his 3-piece band.

Support will be by Melbourne-based Thomas Hugh with guitarist Shannon Bourne.

Coming off the release of  ‘Sum =’, Thomas and Shannon will be heading to MOTH in support of the latest single Them Dams Never Break. The response has been over-whelming and has recently taken Thomas and Shannon to Sydney and around Victoria with Thomas’ unique and moody sense of story-telling and Shannon’s otherworldly guitar touch to match.

Local artist James Avent will start the night off at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased via the website or will be available at the door.

Tasty light platters, local wine and beer will be available. No BYO.
