What: Peninsula Studio Trail Open Studio Weekend
It’s finally here, the Peninsula Studio Trail annual open studio event, artists will be opening their studios on 14th & 15th and 21st & 22nd of November from 10am until 5pm. This year we’re opening over two consecutive weekends to allow you more time to visit the 19 different studios. If you’re looking for a gift for someone special or an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping then this is also your chance to buy directly from the artist.
Many of our artists will be demonstrating the techniques that make their work so special. Ceramic artists Sandi Faulkner and Susie Lawrence will be providing hands on workshops for children of all ages (including adults). Katrina Newman Gold and Silversmith will be demonstrating cuttlefish casting and lamp-worked glass bead making. Marilyn Townsend will be demonstrating textile necklaces and cuffs, and painting aprons for Christmas gifts.
