What: The Peninsula Music Society is back with a sensational start to our 2016 season on 19 March – the Australian Chamber Choir (24 voices) and the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra (23 musicians) will fill our hall with the glorious sound of J S Bach`s Mass in B Minor. This awe-inspiring masterwork was written towards the end of Bach’s most fertile compositional period while Director of Music at St. Thomas’ Leipzig when he composed over three hundred cantatas, the St. Matthew and St. John Passions and the Brandenburg Concertos.
