CALL-OUT TO EMERGING MORNINGTON PENINSULA ARTISTS

AA_LOGO_BWWhat: Arts Access Victoria is seeking expressions of interest from Mornington Peninsula Shire based emerging artists with an interest in developing their skills in working with artists with disability. This is a short term paid intern position

Applicants will have a current arts practice. A background in the disability sector is not a mandatory requirement.

The position will work from a number of locations, including:

  • Seawinds Community Hub, Rosebud West
  • Mornington Library, Mornington
  • Arts Access Victoria, South Melbourne

This position will include working with Art About participants to present their most recent work “An Avenue of Puppets: Volatile Bodies” at the Mornington Library 29 April to 24 June. Opening event and artist talk dates TBC.

When: Intern dates placed between: 9th April – 9th July. Please note this position will include weekdays and Saturdays.

  • Technical qualifications/training;
