What: Arts Access Victoria invites you to Avenue of Puppets: Volatile Bodies, a photographic exhibition of marionette works by artists from Art About, one of AAV’s inclusive art studios.
Avenue of Puppets: Volatile Bodies was born from the dreams and internal narratives of the artists to interrogate how artists with a disability see their bodies interacting with the physical and metaphysical environment. Infused with tales of travel, magic-making and dreams, these puppet objects have taken on new, barrier-free lives of their own. This exhibition of photographs shows each marionette and the hand of their maker, capturing artist and artwork as one.
