ADFAS logoWhat:  At the June meeting of the Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society (ADFAS) Mornington Peninsula, Chairman, Janet Glaspole announced the four schools selected as recipients of Young Arts awards for 2016.

They are Mornington Park Primary School, Tyabb Primary school, Mount Eliza North Primary School and Dromana Secondary College each of which received a cheque for $850 to use for their music or drama programs.

This annual program gives an opportunity for ADFAS members to support the development of the Arts in the local community.

Representatives of the schools enjoyed attending the monthly lecture, this one being on Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels, and socialising with members after the presentation.
