What:Garden DesignFest is a celebration of good design principles as applied to gardens and outdoor spaces. The event exhibits application of these principles by opening 45 professionally designed private gardens in Melbourne and Regional Victoria, including five gardens on the Mornington Peninsula.
The Peninsula gardens have been designed by four of Australia’s top garden designers: Rick Eckersley, Eugene Gilligan, Steve Taylor and Clive Abben.
Garden DesignFest is organised by Rotary to promote good design and to raise funds for charities.
When: Garden DesignFest is open over two weekends in November:
- 12/13 November: gardens in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula
- 19/20 November: gardens in Regional Victoria
Where: The Peninsula gardens are located at:
- Flinders: Musk Creek Farm, 371 Musk Creek Road
- Mornington: 24 Morell St. and 14 Tellis Drive
- Rye: 7 Douglas Court
- Mt Martha: 33 Deakin Drive
The gardens are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day of the weekend.

Entry: The cost to visit the Mornington , Rye and Mt Martha gardens is $8 per garden and the large Flinders property is $12.
