PWC 2What: “I’ll take 3!” One author’s journey of writing a trilogy and finding a publisher

The Peninsula Writers’ Club welcomes our special guest speaker Sue Parritt

When: Tues 6  September,  2016 from 6:30pm

Where: Sorrento at Cakes and Ale, 102 Ocean Rd Sorrento.  Join us for drinks, dinner and real love author. Great nosh and vino at own expense.

Sue Parritt is a fiction writer based in Mornington.  Sue’s novel ‘Sannah and the Pilgrim’ is the first in a trilogy of a future dystopian Australia was published by Odyssey Press in 2014 and was Commended in the FAW Christina Stead Award, 2014.

PWCThe second, ‘Pia and the Skyman,’ was published in April 2016. Sue’s current project, ‘The Sky Lines Alliance’ completes the trilogy.
Sue hasn’t stopped there. Her short stories, poetry and articles have appeared in national and international magazines and anthologies. She has also written the pilot for a TV series, based on ‘Sannah and the Pilgrim,’ and now is seeking a producer.

PWC 1 Participants will have a few minutes at the start of the night to settle in with a drink, pre-order from the menu and enjoy dinner while listening to our guest speaker and asking questions. The little old book signing and sales table welcomes your support as well.
