What:  Launch of the reprint of MISS GYMKHANA, R.G. MENZIES AND ME by Kathy Skelton.

Kathy Skelton grew up in Sorrento when it was a small town most unlike the tourist destination we know now.

Through her wryly humorous observations we see how events in Victoria in the 1950s impacted on Sorrento life and how Australia was changing.

Sadly, author Kathy Skelton passed away in 2002 but her voice lives on in this book.  Sorrento Museum has reprinted this special book to be launched by award-winning playwright and author Hannie Rayson .

When:  Sunday November 13, 2.00-3.00pm

Where: Parkview Room, Hotel Sorrento

Tickets:  $15 including the launch, a welcome drink and canapés.  Books are $20 and are available from Sorrento Museum or at the launch.
