‘A Woman’s Place’ is an innovative mini-festival celebrating local women’s stories through theatre, music and dance, offering workshops, performances and a film screening to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Workshops include singing with Ling Marra, contemporary dance with Dianne Reid and autobiographical writing with Andrea Louise Thomas. Making its premiere will be ‘Right Here’, a new theatre work created by Carole Patullo and Jane Bayly, based on stories shared by women living on the Mornington Peninsula. The award-winning film ‘Embrace’ will be screened on International Women’s Day, following a reading by the Peninsula Writers’ Club.
