Draw 4 is a series of four facilitated drawing sessions beginning in early 2017.
Across four intimate sessions participants will experiment, delve, play and connect to build a creative community. Each evening you’ll be inspired by a new theme and journey, sharing an abundance of creative tools giving you a host of ideas and drawings to take home.

When: Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm. February 2, 9, 16 and 23.

Cost: $150 + booking fee (a selection of delicious snacks and drinks along the way will be provided)
A new Best Artist Sculpture Scarecrow competition, a contemporary new brand and a festival day are being introduced to revitalise the Hinterland Scarecrow Festival and Trail, returning in peninsula hills during the September school holidays.
Artists are invited to enter an art installation with the ‘Aussie icons’ theme or can opt for a more traditional scarecrow sculpture or farmyard art, in wood, metal, fibreglass or stone – suitable for outdoors.

What: Develop your drawing skills by sketching in the Gallery. MPRG’s Educator Jill Anderson will conduct a drawing workshop where you can be inspired by the works in the National Works on Paper exhibition. Explore mark making, tone, line and gesture. All welcome. Materials provided.
