‘The Full Noise’ is a workshop and performance event specially for teenage girls. Dominique Garrard, one half of the duo, nyck, will be running a workshop for aspiring musos with a focus on performance skills, song writing and improvisation. Following the workshop will be a teen music night, where participants will get to perform on stage at the Southern Peninsula Arts Centre as part of International Women’s Day celebrations.
Dom will be staying on for the evening session to perform with those who took part in the workshop, as well as perform a few of her own songs. This event is part of A Woman’s Place International Woman’s Day Arts Festival.

What: Mornington Peninsula Shire Youth Services is calling out for young amateur film makers who live work or go to school on the Mornington Peninsula Shire to create an original short film and enter into our competition.
The Short Film Competition is free and open to young people aged between 10 and 25 years who live, work or attend school on the Mornington Peninsula.
The topic can be of the young people’s choosing and must be under 10 minutes.

Great Prizes: 1st prize is $1000, 2nd prize is $500 and 3rd prize is $250.
